Ritchie Honored with a Post Office re-named Ritchie Valens Post Office
The Post Office is in Ritchie's hometown of Pacoima California. The President signed the resolution in December 2019. Ritchie's family met with Representative Tony Cardenas last year to discuss the idea. The Family offers their gratitude to Representative Cardenas for his diligence in this process.
The Ritchie Valens Post Office is located at 13507 Van Nuys Blvd, Pacoima Ca, 91331.
The Dedication was slated for April 23rd, 2020, and was postponed due to Covid19. We will post here and on social-media when new date is set.
A bronze plaque will be placed inside the post office bearing Ritchie's name.
Ritchie's Legacy is a source of pride for the community of Pacoima and fans worldwide.
